A collaboration with contemporary artist Shinichiro Inui has been realized. He creates works of art with a definition of social media issues in modern society and consumerist fashion and art. I expressed those exciting and colorful works on the mat.

artist profile

Shinichiro Inui / Artist
Born in Osaka in 1983. Although he suffered from speech disorders and dyslexia in his childhood, he communicates with people through painting. Although he created art for the first time as a result of a certain event, he was selected and experienced an exhibition at the Kyoto Museum of Culture. From there, he began his career as a contemporary artist. At the age of 18, he moved to the United States to study art at the University of Oregon. After obtaining a BFA, he returned to Japan, which is also his roots, in order to solidify his foundation as a contemporary artist. Inspired by street art, paint directly onto clothes and bags to experiment with new art forms. Established the apparel brand “guernika” to increase contact with art. Currently, paintings, collages, sculptures, photographs, videos, and even fashion tools make full use of various materials and techniques to pose questions about modern society.
